Dear Members of the Network of European Blue Schools,

On behalf of DG MARE, we are excited to extend an invitation to you to join us and make waves at the European Maritime Day In My Country!

The EMD In My Country is the Commission initiative gathering events celebrating our ocean and seas.

Every year, from April to October, hundreds of events join the tide and take part in this wave of ocean awareness and activism.

Any event can apply, even far from the coast! Local activities such as beach clean-ups, guided tours, art exhibitions, workshops, ocean literacy actions - you name it – are welcome.

For being part of the EMD family, you will receive in return goodies for your event participants, the promotion of your event on the Commission website, and you will enter a network of like-minded organizers.

In 2023, 494 events from 31 European and non-EU countries took part in EMD In My Country. This year, we aspire to break this record.

Seize the opportunity to make waves, submit your event before 29 February.

Rohelise kooli teemad “vesi” ja “meri” 13.02.2024 kell 15-16:30 koolide veebiseminar

Veebinaril tutvustasid oma tegevusi:

Tartu loodusmaja huvikool: õpetaja Pille-Riin Pärnsalu on koostanud Peipsi järve õpimapi ja metoodikavihiku, mille abil saab õpetada Peipsi piirkonna jaoks olulisi keskkonna ja säästva arengu teemasid. Veebinaril osalejatele saadame soovi korral ka paberkandjal õpimapi.

Kohila Gümnaasium: õpetaja Triinu Tõrv tutvustab koostöös Keskkonnaameti spetsialistide ja loodusainete õpetajatega 5. ja 8. klasside õpilastele läbiviidud vee –elustiku uurimist ja liikide määramist. Keila jõest leitud ja määratud liigid pandi ka PlutoF keskkonda. Määratud liikide abil saadi teada seda, et Keila jõe vee seisund Kohilas on hea, sest siin elavad valdavalt liigid, kes elavad puhtas vees ja mõned liigid, kes taluvad mõõdukat stressi. 30. aprillil kavandame ka õpetajate õppepäeva Kohilas kohapeal.
